Meisel History

Home > About Us > Meisel History

In 1945, Ulric Meisel began our company as Meisel Photo and Color Service. The company was a photographic laboratory for professionals, serving the needs of photographers in the Dallas area. Over the years, Meisel's reputation grew to include photographic professionals from all over the US as well as around the world.

In the early 1990's, Meisel began its move into digital imaging with digital slides and digital photo retouching. Since then, digital imaging, and the ever growing technology supporting it, has become the hallmark of our company. In 1996, the Professional Portrait Division was sold, allowing us to focus entirely on the growing graphic needs of corporations, exhibit companies, and advertising agencies. In 1997,we changed our name to Meisel Visual Imaging.

Today, our focus is entirely on producing graphics for the corporate, retail, and trade show industries. Our products are produced exclusively using digital technologies. With over 50 years of producing the very highest quality in visual images, the employees and management of Meisel Visual Imaging bring talent, experience and expertise to bear on our clients projects.

Looking ahead, we see a future where our knowledge and know how of digital technology and products leads to new methods of producing world class graphics better, faster, and at a lower cost for our clients.
