No one likes to pay for freight costs. At Meisel, we go out of our way to help you find ways to reduce your freight costs.

First, on your behalf, we have negotiated low FedEx rates and gladly pass those savings on to you. Whether you ship by Ground, Air, International, or FedEx Freight, you can count on receiving some of the lowest rates in the industry.

We also understand the many surcharges that FedEx and UPS charge and do our best to help you avoid those surcharges. For instance, because of dimensional surcharges, a 36" x 48" print that weighs only 6 lbs. would be billed for 28 lbs. if shipped flat.  However, it would only be charged for the actual 6 lbs. weight if rolled into a 36" tube.

But the best way we save you money is with our exclusive SmartFreight calculator. SmartFreight is used when you are shipping a rollout by an Express method (Next Day, Second Day, etc.). SmartFreight compares your in-store date with the transit time to each store and chooses the lowest cost ship method for each store that will insure the package arrives by the in-store date. For instance, if your in-store date is two-days after shipment, then SmartFreight will ship your New York store by Second Day Air and your Tulsa, Austin, and Little Rock stores by Ground. All of these stores will arrive by your in-store date but your shipping costs will be considerably lower than if you had simply selected Second Day shipping for all packages.
